My calculations of a dividend of $1.25 a share were based on FMG realising an average price of USD$105 a tonne (for the half year).
With the iron ore price quickly approaching USD$140 a tonne, that "average price" that we're receiving is looking like being way above USD$105.
Perhaps my expectations of the next dividend of $1.25 a share are too conservative???!!!!
It is apparent that the market also seems to have finally realised this and the share price has re-rated and smashed through $20.00 ....
