What's with people always assuming the worst when they see a gap in your resume. Happens at all levels - some people will flat out quit due to toxic culture/low pay/whatever reason. Besides, even if you got fired, half the time it means you're a good employee and your boss is shit - the other half means you're a bad employee and your boss thankfully saw it sooner than later.
Hiring people without gaps won't improve those chances.
