Kalahari Director Peter McIntyre said: “We have initiated comprehensive drilling programmes on both our primarily uranium and copper projects in Namibia, the results from which confirm our early beliefs and expectations that our prospecting areas have excellent potential. At our Husab uranium project, we have completed 4,730 metres diamond drilling in 15 holes, where results have yielded strong uranium anomalies that are typical of this highly prospective region where the Rossing and Langer Heinrich deposits are located. At Koperberg, located within the Dordabis project area, we have drilled 9,120 metres across 80 holes on a 20 by 20 grid and have received assays confirming significant copper grades and widths. Furthermore we have defined additional targets at Koperberg, and been granted licences at Witvlei, both of which we aim to commence drilling on in the near future. I am excited about the future and believe we will be able to quickly develop our projects with the aim of moving to the bankable feasibility stage next year.”
