Given up on blueberries, soil and bore water is just too alkaline.

If birds were my biggest problem I would be happy, been spraying my peaches for fruit fly but already seeing fruit that has been infected. Not holding much hope, such a pity but will have to decide on pulling up all my stone fruit.
Mango tree flowers are finishing and is showing some fruit set, fingers cross a few hold though the trees are relatively young.
Don't know how big your apple and peach trees are but if not to big you could make a frame with electrical conduit which is quite flexible and slide the net over that.
I don't have to worry about rain, not sure if we are still with a sprinkler ban but not as if that bothers me. I just "Test and Check" the retic as required
