I believe that trial is in the process of being duplicated by SES Research, a lab in the US that produces c60 for nutritional supplements.
If the results can be repeated with a greater n. wow.
Their c60 product was used in that trial. c60 has not been officially tested in humans, although many people take it world wide with no reported negative side effects so far.
That study was originally done because it was forecast that c60/fullerenes were going to be widely used and its toxicity to humans, if any, needed to be known.
