I can't speak for MND but I know the shorters were pushing WOR lower on the assumption they would need to raise capital.
Management kept reaffirming that they did not need to raise any money but the shorters did not believe them... Kept pushing it lower and lower until the turn around... Further, WOR recently disclosed that they had been approached with an offer for the company to which they declined. That same company has now taken a major stake.
