The rising AUD (falling AUD POG) is giving our locally based goldies a big kick in the but today.
And we wuz thinking our goldies would be spared from a falling USD POG by a lower AUD. Nope, the AUD is reflecting all that money coming in to buy up our houses, farms, mines, commercial and industrial property, and infrastructure as well as to park money (stolen or not) in our banks and govtnut securities.
The population ponzi combined with the financialisation of our economy are keeping the music going while real produce industries, and most of the hoi polio, get hurt.
On the bright side, think where the share price might be if the quarterly report had been ordinary or poor?
