Hello Eshmun (and others who might have a view on this aspect)
I am very impressed with the logic of your post on 23rd June concerning reserves depletion and the costs of incrementally adding to NST's potfolio.
I am a long term holder of TAM ... mainly because they have dropped so much since I bought them that I put them in the drawer years ago, however there has been a few murmurings in last few months about whether or not the Central Tanami Project (CTP) is going to be restarted.
To refurbish the existing plant and restart mining might cost $70 mill and take 12 months. Work over the last couple of years seems to have been drilling literally hundreds of holes to enable more accurate estimation of the resource and update the mine plans BUT nothing much else is known about NST's thinking as to: will we? /won't we? / if so when? etc ...
Do you have a view as regards to economic value of CTP to NST in the current environment?
I would value your opinion very much ... and I am sure there are others in the same boat
