I used to be a bias regarding FA, however unless you are a long term investor and do not have enough time to trade the swings and also you got into a stock and the start or picked a really good bottom then yes FA is good to a degree.
However i have learnt the hard way regarding TA. It will always rule over FA in my view as no matter how good a companies FA is the market will do what the market wants which ultimately shows on a TA perspective. lastly don't even try and speculate take over price or bidding war scenarios if you are not on the board nor have inside information, as you are merely throwing a dart at a board in the dark. Been there on plenty of stocks and the complete opposite has happened even though FA was stacked favorably.
