Beaches,you clearly have trouble reading and understanding.You certainly have no understanding of what is involved in engineering and building a multi MW power facility in Canada or anywhere else.KPO is not a billion dollar company.....yet.
The past 3 years have been spent designing and engineering the first Alberta plant module and I expect it will be constructed over the next few years.
It will also serve as a working demonstration plant and incorporate the design features that can be modularised.Do you think this gets done in a couple of months?
KPO has limited resources and must continue to focus on the task at hand.Geothermal and all the other potential applications are out there waiting but KPO does not have the capital at its disposal to tackle those now.It needs a big brother and that will hopefully come as Alberta progresses.
A new CTO will also be found in time but while it is an essential appointment for expanding the business the work would have already been completed for Alberta and consultant power engineers can fill the gap.
The reality is that 30 MW power project incorporating new technology take years to design and build.The design of the first Alberta plant would need to have been completed to apply for the necessary permits to build it.We have been told they are still awaiting some regulatory approvals.But this is just part of the process which will be a lot easier next time round.
At the same time they are negotiating the financing which will of course be conditional on the approvals.
Again,financing the first will be a lot more difficult than others and take much more time.
At the same time we have inflation higher than it has been for a decade.
These are all understandable for us who live in the real world and been involved in building large projects most of which take five or six years to design,finance,construct and build.
Short term day traders should not pretend to be serious investors and continue to spruke drivel.
