The AFR reports today the the Doherty Institute has found that "certain varieties of Australian garlic have demonstrated antiviral properties with up to 99.9% efficacy against the viruses that cause COVID-19 and the common flu".
"The most efficacious varieties are being commercialised and will soon be able to be taken as a soft capsule supplement, similar to vitamin C or fish oil, subject to a recently lodged international patent".
