I strongly agree. The dark clouds are there and the state govt is asleep at the wheel unfortunately. Kind of scary to think we have a career politician with an arts degree in charge of the states energy portfolio...

Our company has seen an uptick in work through food processing/dairy plants/vitamins etc along with the recent splurge from COE in the Otway Basin with the Ocean Monarch drilling program so my concerns directly for our order book are limited in the shorter term. With that said the possibility that we would be trimming our workforce as the effects of a decline in industry spend eventually wash through our books is very real.
