With respect to your opinion it will be in the hands of the SA government and ultimately they who decide the time frame.
I agree it is low environmental impact (which is the most important point) and otherwise an unremarkable project in terms of the mine (quarry) operations so I am, like you, hoping it goes quickly (but most of all smoothly).
The ML application is a huge amount of detailed work and once complete, likely a great relief for management.
