it would actually be quite easy, all you need is an offtake from a huge supplier in the construction industry such as Boral or Nilsen and the growth is exponential.
let's take Brisbane's "Queens Wharf" as a commercial sized greenfields example project;
- at least 1 or two concrete deck pours each day
- each deck pour sees 10 -20 trucks (sometimes more)
- there are roughly 15-20 decks on each floor
- the 2 towers top floors is around 60
- the casino structure to be around level 20
- the job is to be completed in 2023
although I don't have cubic meterage of the pours we know that 1 truck contains roughly 6.1m3
15 trucks per pour = 91.5m3
over 1 year that amounts to roughly 23,800m3 of concrete just from 1 pour per day on 1 job site in 1 city (greenfields tier 1 project)
it would be in the best interest of commercial size applications to use halloysite as an additive over the duration of a multi year project. IMO
would be interesting to see how many trucks Boral send out per day in 1 city in Australia.
then if you take it on a global scale the potential is absolutely ridiculously enormous
