IMO two different arguments
...and I agree with you both

Scarpa is saying, as I, that it is not productive to knock the competition
I would go as far as saying it is detrimental to the market

Your argument on management is IMO also correct
I will not invest in a company with poor or lifestyle management

My example of this is MEP
Appears to be a good arbitrage on numbers
Then I read a lot of posts complaining about management
That's enough to stop me investing in MEP
...and yet I know and respect those that have invested and wish them and MEP every success
