Shorting itself isn’t a crime. However, “bear raids” are criminal where they involve collusion to spread rumors or lies. “Shorters and distorters” add nothing of value. They destroy capital, and people’s lives. These people are akin to online scammers, grifters, pick-pockets, and thieves. And like all scammers, they have a very high opinion of themselves. They are hard-core narcissists.

I think we have been subjected to an amateur short and distort. Good news is, they have left a long trail of evidence of their criminal activities.

The other good news is they need to turn quick profits. Shorting isn’t a long-term play, simply because of the mechanics. The upside is 100% at best, excluding borrowing's leverage. But the liability is infinite. So they need to get in and out quickly.
