    Encourage all to have a read of the GW Mining Proposal which can be found here:

    There is a plethora of information contained within its 466 pages. Including a few answers to discussions held here over the past few months. Lots to digest but some of the items which stood out to me.

    Timing of DSO (Stage 1) for 18 months, to wet refining (Stage 2) from 18 months.

    Capex: Capital expenditure for the Proposed Development is expected to be in the order of A$102.4 million, with the majority spend occurring during initial (Stage One) construction, and year three (Stage Two) with investment in the processing plant.

    Availability of Water:
    Stage 1= Trucking
    Stage 2 = SA Water has confirmed possibility of mains water connection subject to agreements.

    Power: During Stage One construction and operation, and Stage Two construction, electricity is anticipated to be provided by diesel generators. It is expected that two silenced skid mounted 10-125 kVA generators will be required for Stage One. Additional smaller units may be used during the construction phases.

    Stage 2 power via LPG in lieu of renewables or mains.

    Community Engagement and Concerns Raised:
    Extensive communication strategies including feedback loops in place with local communities and traditional land owners.

    Listed concerns have been raised about: The source and quantity of water for the operation, and in particular, whether the Proposed Development accessing SA Water pipelines would create an adverse impact on other existing users with respect to pressure and volume.• Impact on agricultural activities such as cropping as a result of dust generated from the Proposed Development during construction and operation. Quality of life impacts (i.e. noise) during operation have been a focus for the immediate landowners.• Impact of increased truck movements on road quality, dust generation and safety for other road users particularly for immediate neighbours and others in the community who use the regional unsealed roads.
