I should add this:

I'm only relatively new to ADN but my observation is that it has been the little guy, the retail side of the market who have supported ADN for quite some time. They are basically the ones who got it to the point of being admitted to the All Ords. Because of this, those Funds which track the index had to buy in, pushing the price a little higher.

Then the next thing these Funds do is a arrange a deal with a few shorters and the price falls dramatically. As ADN is such a small part of the Index any fall in price would barely be noticed but these guys pick up a nice little earner in lending fees etc in the meantime. I don't believe for one minute that the decision to supply the shorters was a spur of the moment decision: I suspect it was planned well in advance.

The only losers at the moment are the little guys and that will always be the case.

Again I hope a strong positive announcement is made before Easter, to blow these mongrels out of the water.
