The XJO was up over 100 points and dumped 50 points in the last 30 minutes of trading.
US futures also dropped a fair bit.
I think you might be on the right track. Saw similar patterns on many other stocks today.
Index rebalancing combined with panic selling.
Managed to get into the auction to buy some more!
Wouldn't be surprised to see a bounce tomorrow.
