A shorter is just someone that is committed to buying the stock in the future, that's not a bad thing. Its the ramping both up and down that's the issue.
is the strategy, using adn as an example, to find a company that you think you can ramp from 30c to 40c and then back to 30c.
you buy $100k worth at 30c and upramp to 40c and sell for $33k profit.
you then short borrow 1M shares, sell at 40c and start a down ramping campaign trying to drive back to 30c and cancel the short netting another $100k.
$133k profit in a few months for sitting on social media for a few hours a day.
I need to look closer into this.
