Can anyone substantiate some claims of recent hours regarding a pending announcement?

I am as much for the secret squirrel approach as the next guy, and recognise discretion is the better part of valour.
However, past patterns don't always dictate the future. ( not that I can identify any in the timing of announcements )

The share price at 27 cents held for some time and it has fallen through this today to no certain bottom. I would grab another 100k shares at the closing price, no problem. Love it if others would join me ! Wish we could recognise it's largely the abandoning of buyers that is causing this drop and leave this frigging shorting debate to rest.
