The shorters’ sledging is a psychological ploy designed to make you FEEL bad about your investment.
Feelings don’t matter. Facts do.
If I was worried about my ADN investment, I’d be switching off social media, and reviewing credible sources, such as ASX releases, news sites, and published journals. Then I’d consider this data in the context of my investment strategy. If ADN wasn’t a fit, I’d sell.
But I’ve already done my research, long ago. And I believe the story has improved since, not worse.
So why am I sticking with ADN?
- The current market cap is now well below the old NPV ($736M for 75%). If we were years away from production, I’d be worried. But we’re starting operations in Feb 2022.
- If the capex was huge, I’d be worried. But its peanuts. On the old PFS it’s a $28M maximum cash requirement. As everyone knows, explorers commonly need to find $500M to start operations. So I can’t see any problems whatsoever finding $28M. The fact the shorters are making a big deal of the capex proves they are either profoundly ignorant, or wilfully spreading misinformation. $28M sounds like a lot to average Joe and Jane. But in the business world, its nothing.
- The jurisdiction is safe as it gets.
- Many mining companies are priced at a discount to NPV in proportion to the technical risk, jurisdiction risk, capex requirements, management risk, and length of time to production. Andromeda gets a tick on all these factors.
- The upside remains huge. HPA, concrete, carbon capture, batteries, water purification, hydrogen storage. Only one of these needs to come through to be a company maker. And they are not mucking around. With a joint venture with MEP, and Professor Vinu (Director of the Global Innovative Centre for Advanced Nanomaterials) leading research, they have already made much progress. - Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, ADN aims to produce something socially worthwhile. No doubt the shorters will laugh at this. Sadistic narcissists can’t comprehend such motivations.
If you do your independent research, and believe in Andromeda’s prospects, then you might do well to block some of these trolls. Their personal attacks are designed to make you feel bad about your investment. They are good at this, because clearly they are well-practiced sadists who take glee in others’ misfortune. If they had something valid to say, then they’d have already said it. Instead, they mock people’s appearance, laugh at declining portfolios, and call us names. There is no point trying to appeal to their humanity. They have none. There is no point showing them facts. They don’t care. The easy way to win is to block them. I have concluded engaging them only serves their purpose. And what is their purpose? To spread fear so they can take your money.
