    If someone has done amazing due diligence and research into a company, decides to go long, and profits - that is good, right?

    If someone has done amazing due diligence and research into a company, decides to go short, and profits - that is good, right?

    And maybe in both circumstances they post their research and opinions online. that is good too, right? Either circumstance is not different.
