The principle of not catching falling knives is one that applies to traders (like myself), not investors.
Investors love (calmly and calculatingly) catching falling knives at "bargain prices" and don't even mind
getting a little cut up in the short term...
As good old Warren Buffet said:
"You shouldn't own common stocks if a 50% decrease in their value in a short period of time would
cause you acute distress."
Don't think he would invest on this side of the market, but the point stands.
I have seldomly ever been that confident, so I stick to what I know I'm good at...
