I think its in LT holders' interests for the stock not to surge. I know we have fallen a long way. Still, a 13% rise is more than enough on any given day. As much as I want the shorters burnt, I don't want the SP to spike as they cover. Because, IMHO, such volatility will only encourage another surge of shorters, followed by greater volatility. A steady SP is better for raising capital, whether by borrowing or issuing shares. Personally, I'd be much happier with a slow steady climb.
Of course, the SP will do what it does, regardless of my wishes.
