short selling is... calculated - yes, just as any investment in ADN at 2c was calculated... they did the research and loaded up... some people into top20 holdings. advantage taking - yes, just as it was buying in early at 1c... taking advantage that it was still unknown. a bet against the current valuation - yes... so is buying ADN at 2c knowing it's worth more...
holders need to remember why they bought in and not worry about the day to day... and if all the holders on the 'ADN Holdings' thread are holding long term and for dividends... then why the fk is everyone getting so worked up about the share price today?!?! that's right, we all love to see big green screens every morning at 10am and even bigger green screens every afternoon at 4:11pm... that's human nature... that's the emotion.
ADN got way ahead of itself in share price, it should never have got to $1b valuation just yet... but it did... so people shorted it... that's the market... that's the reality it's the social media crap that has left everyone feeling sour. that's what made it nasty. but it's no different from blatant pumpers... point being the extremes of both are toxic.
in my opinion, it's best to separate reality from emotion...
