Ive worked really hard with my shares particularly the past 6 years. Not so well at first, but was working longer hours also still and too hard to keep up, and realised needed to spend a lot of time but was worth it to avoid many mistakes and to invest more safely .
Gradually I got to know many companies. I have paid a lot of subscriptions. Too much money into & most not given monetary gains really at all , but I constantly learned every day and study ongoing.
I take advice but much of it was not worthwhile at first and also lead to fair proportion of losses , so I learned to only trust my own research and some respected investors, but to still make my own decisions. Since a low point at the very end of 2018 , (Christmas eve 2018 I wasn’t working and started to buy a lot of gold shares at that point ) , then 2019 onwards I have really grown my portfolio. Grateful.

Is only due to excellent management in all of the companies which have been important .
James Marsh I am also very indebted to but unfortunately didn’t jump into ADN.
(Held MEP) I wish I bought ADN for sure , but did what I did instead.
All is for the future. Is longterm. And provides crucial freedom.

I do really like doing shares - the huge amount can learn about each company and commodity or field .
Still unsure exactly what to do but have to be able to move on now my family are gone. Holding the family home is hollow with them gone . Wishing things be different wasn’t going to get me anywhere , and got to be able to afford not to worry , & be secure for the longterm .
It’s a big thing to do but I must uproot , and needed to get secure and independent of my work - get virtually debt free and create nest egg , enough for life. Not at all an easy path to manage as everyone knows I’m sure , & it is a solitary pursuit.

Money isn’t everything- health and family , & if you happen to be lucky to still have a partner to cherish - these are no 1.

We all need money to get to the financial freedom we need, to have a life , a good life even and able to spend time with family.
I have always wanted to do other things , but now after always encouraging and getting my offspring to go and become very educated , and they gained skills from working hard always too , unfortunately they took up amazing jobs that they got in their fields , really far away and even they are all still young yet.
I have got to be able to afford to go see them- not just now but always. I worry about them , & yes covid has been a big time of grief.
For many everywhere though for sure.

By the way - re Covid vaccine .
I received today and it was so easy. Didn’t even sting , was like no deal at all to have.
**Hope everyone makes it a priority to ASAP when eligible , or express an interest for when possible — and go and do it now or as soon as you can.
