This is the kind of calibre of board members that would do wonders for us. Example here is from a pharma stock some of us are in.

I like the fact that he has huge subject matter expertise (pharma, for us this would be geo) coupled with an
impressive background in investment banking.
Plus, he has done a number of really big commercail deals:
He has been involved in over 100 licensing and M&A transactions in the life sciences arena, with a combined value in excess of US$10 billion, including the licensing of Antisoma’s oral oncology drug fludarabine by Sanofi, and Kineta’s oncology RIG-I inhibitor by Pfizer.
If we wonna go big, we gotta think big and get s.b. like that. Imagine where we'd go with a person (equivalent to our industry) on the Board! Who knows one?
