the other logical reason is they are waiting for the DFS/ML to actually cover. They need a lot of volume in a day to help cover and these to milestones “should” give them that volume. If they tried to cover now they would push the sp well up but on a big volume day could only be a few cents. They are probably scratching their heads as much as we are on this whole situation.
The shorting is different as they are clearly holding the price and not trying to push it down as that would take a lot more shares to do.,
Blowing through 50M shorts thus far for nothing really.
