I agree regarding global markets overnight, all did very well so that would have definitely influenced some buying today.
I'd be impressed if shorters haven't covered and the SP goes higher and remains higher in perpetuity. But that's where I remain cautious - Hoping the intent of "letting off the gas" on further shorting isn't to then continue the shorts as time goes on
