I agree that the expectations of multiple fantastic announcements one after another are not realistic.
By fantastic announcements I mean stuff that translates to real revenue streams and not exotic ideas with potential revenue many years if not decades from now.
Yes, some of the new holders will sell their shares, some or many shorters will cover using their new shares but I don't think there will be much downward pressure on the SP as a result of the takeover.
I also agree that there will be pressure on the management to deliver once the takeover noise dies out.
I do expect upwards move in share price if favorable DFS is released.
Size of capex and time to revenue will be most important factors.
