I'm going to post something unusual here. I was looking at some basic graphs yesterday and noticed some looked rather similar, so I overlapped some of them and checked with ADN. I came to the conclusion that there is no better stock I'd park my money in right now. So I thought I'd share with you all my watchlist and some comments.
These are all stocks I follow and before you get excited I would recommend seriously
against some of these stocks. I have a strong opinion on each of these stocks and follow them to see if my predictions come true, and out of respect for others I won't name those stocks that IMO are flawed.
As you can see I watch some LICS (ACQ, CAM, WMI)
Lets do a super simple 6 month chart of the first stock - ACQ
its bad, lets add the other 2 LICSs CAM and WMI
6 month performance is around the -11% to -17%. These are professional fund managers diversifying into their picks for the future.
The rest of my watchlist is all BIO and Resources. Here is my BIO chart with all on there
THe only one that has performed well is CSL - number 2 on the ASX. All other speccies have been destroyed.
Now lets have a look at the remaining stocks on my watchllist
This is a bucket load of info, and I think it reflected by market sentiment and management credentials. I had reasons not to buy any of those stocks that performed bad, and am pleased with my decisions.
Now lets have a look at the top 2. GOR and SVL are precious resources stocks. I have owned GOR a couple of times, SVL as well (not currently). I would enter SVL if they had a mine approval which they submitted before ADN, but to date no approval. These 2 stocks are sadly benefactors of the Russia Ukraine war. Gold land SIlver is a currency, a safe haven and war tends to favour these stocks.
NOw lets add in ADN to this chart
There he is in yellow colour shining brightly with 21.88% over last 6 months.
Now this is impressive because we just/almost finished a takeover which generally means a decline in shareprice.
ANyway I shared this with you because I was considering diversifying a litle bit as I'm very overweight in ADN. With DFS around the corner, DSO, and mining to start late this year I don't think I can pick a stock with confidence that I would say would do better.
