Well the Oz market is only down 10% from its high - the Dow is 15%, S & P is 20% and Nasdaq is 30%.
Mind you BHP has barely moved and is a larger % of the index than most ASX companies so the 10% down is understated.
Current market will see margin calls and flight from risky assets.
