Shipping costs have reduced dramatically in recent times, and they are expected to continue to decrease by a further 20-30% over the next couple of years. The DFS included freight costs at the peak of the market, and as this accounts for 50% of our costs. This cost reduction will have a huge impact on the numbers. In relation to funding, doing it largely as a share purchase plan can reduce shareholder dilution to a minimum, and with 14k shareholders on the register, we are talking approximately $5k per shareholder with no requirement for debt funding initially. With BOA pricing above DFS levels, shipping costs reductions, and potentially no debt repayments, the economics of the starter plant are likely to be better than expected. Who knows, DSO might also become a viable option again for easy quick cash flow!
