It's entrapment because selling at a loss feels like failing. It easy to buy, knowing when to sell is harder. The most important thing in investing is to look forward and erase the pain away so you can focus on the future decisions.

If I had a stock on my watch list that would do better than ADN over next 12 months then I can make that decision. I used to hold around 15 stocks and dumped 2/3 because of various factors. No Moat, no conviction from CEO, consistent CRs to instos with no crumbs for retail. Out of the 10 I culled I only got 1 wrong. It's a success story for me. Admittedly some were green so a little easier to make a decision.

I remind myself about what ADN could be, and am not delighted with today but OK with baby steps whilst we get out of this.
