I have noticed that one of the shorters key strategies is to identify co's where they believe a capital raise is to be conducted. This makes sense as if the shorters are correct they can typically buy back the shorted shares at a profit pre (or post) the capital raise.
IMO that is probably why there are still shorters in ADN - IMO the shorters expect that at some stage ADN will conduct a raise to generate funds for the Project development, at which time they will likely cover their short positions.
