This has been one of my most recent gripes with the company - they hire someone to grow the brand's external presence and even those of us who watch the company daily have no indication of (any) meaningful work being done.
If it was a finance or engineering role sure, but this job is specifically focused on increasing external visibility of the company. Create white papers, engage with publications, push out kaolin FAQs, do some sort of stakeholder/shareholder management - anything!
If this guy is failing at his job, it doesn't instill much confidence other roles are operating at a high capacity either.
