Honeyhole, the kaolin only has to be heated to 700 degrees instead of the flyash which is heated to 1400 degrees hence the lower carbon footprint from the energy requirements. This is the only benefit with using bog standard kaolin. HRM is a rheology modifier that actually reduces carbon through the benefits of the strength of the mix of high purity kaolin and halloysite I believe. We could pursue the first option but the real money is made via the rare quality of our deposits.
