That's just the list of shorts sold on Thursday out of all shares traded. It's handy to see impact of shorts on the trading day.

You need the ASIC list of Total Shorts Outstanding to see if any shorts net closing out. That shows 51m as of last Monday (down from peak of 83m). Report is lagged a few trading days.
