Anyway on the topic we are discussing thanks for your opinion. I still think your argument is flawed.

Here is my justification for my opinion. The risk profile on shorting prior to a CR is no different at 1.9c as it is at 15c…if anything the risk profile here is even better due to the fact (as you and others have stated) if they need to raise to keep the lights on the likes of the regals of the world will screw them
massively on the discount to VWAP they need to raise at. Therefore given we all measure our returns (or losses for most of us here) in % it’s likely that covering via a raise at these prices will return a better yield than it did if you shorted just before the 15c raise.

Obviously this doesn’t account for those who shorted at the very top but given the amount of shorts went through the roof prior to the last raise (thanks AS). This time they are dropping drastically which indicates something different is playing out here. All in my massive paper loss opinion of course
