Yes, and the reality also is when CEOs or other high ranking execs chuck it in inside 12 months for "personal reasons" or "mental health", in the vast majority of cases its because they weren't up to the job, got into some strife or have a better offer elsewhere. Not saying that's the case here but there is no evidence (yet) that it isn't. And I'm sorry, "Bob told me personally" from someone who can't be identified is not evidence. It is only hearsay.

Face facts here. If the CEO of BHP, Telstra or one of the big banks quit inside a year, it would be front page news. The journos would be doing a deep dive on the reasons. For the holders here, it's "poor Bob, how dare anybody question it". If your money is at stake, you have every right to question it! This is a publicly listed company, not a charity.
