I have been investing and following companies for 20 plus years, and in my experience when CEOs leave for family/personal reasons, 90% of the time it's because of performance issues or failures, or they just pop up in a new or better role a few weeks later. It is a smokescreen. Remember when Grivas left as ADN chair because he needed more family time and then quickly appeared on the board of another company?

Having said that, I'm sure Katsiouleris hasn't given up on trying to land funding. He will be trying to make it work, one way or another, because it is in his own interest to do so. Any future employers will be looking closely at his performance at ADN. Not to mention that he is about $250k down on his own investment. My guess is that they have been offered some kind of deal but it is not to the company's advantage so they are pushing for better terms, hence the delay.
