Not sure how many vocal in here have worked at senior corporate level and above.
When you're in negotiations and everything is either NDA or equivalent and you have a targeted date of 30 June, you don't just stop if 30 June hits - yet that's what so many in here expect. "they must have it done as they promised!". Yeah nah. Doesn't work like that. If you believe you can get a decision in reasonable time then you keep going.
As far as what you'll hear from the company on or before 30 June (or whatever deadline) it can range from silence through not much more than "we can report negotiations continue in good faith and we'll update shareholders when possible".
Of course in our case on current spend we'll need some $ in kitty by end September. So there's a fun announcement if negotiations continue and we need a CR. Get the wording on that one right guys!
No offence to The Pig at all, but be careful what you wish for with a new director. Seen some horrors, including one on a similar share - bit like local council nominations - are they a greenie or a property developer, or the latter posing as a greenie . That example saw huge SOI increase, share price plummet, mining in 18 months was guaranteed under the old team and the new team said that's too slow and we'll do 6 months. 3 years later.....
