General comments/chat, page-5909

I am all for listening to people with contrarian views or opinions. I read them all and don't put people on ignore for that reason. If it's a justified post that gets me thinking then it helps me continue my analysis of a stock, although most of that is done through my own research within my own comfort levels. I don't post on every stock I own.

But a lot of single, short, non-beneficial attacks / comments on a stock is providing no benefit to anyone, except people's egos. But that is usually because they have jumped on a directional bandwagon when sentiment has changed already, and claim themselves to be a prophet, rather than making a profit.

I probably gave two extreme examples of people that do a lot of the work most others wouldn't have a clue where to start with. There are many others.
