Isn't this all a little less complicated. I assume it takes several months to organise a $30m corporate deal and that several brokers are involved. That means that, back in late March, various brokers knew that Andromeda would be raising money at 15c a share so they and their clients shorted their holdings knowing they could cover at 15c. Annoying, illegal but hard to prove. Now they'll cover and we'll be back on track.
I don't blame Andromeda, they probably assumed their brokers could keep a secret. I intend to take my full allocation.
