Just to you and others about "deferring" news. If it is material non public information such as a material BOA, they can't. It has to be released promptly. Other things like "Company Updates" they have discretion over. I understand your line of thinking, but company boards simply don't operate like that. If they did, you wouldn't want to be an investor. In any event, they would be sued, and the time lines of who knew what and when would be discoverable.
