Just for example, I once had a door lock to mortiice in and fix to a new door.
There was no paper instruction manual in the packaging, you had to scan the QR code for the instructions.... Well the QR code sent me to a generic link that didn't work and it was after hours so I winged it instead of chasing it up with the manufacturer, but where I'm going with this is that in future, the QR code takes you to the VR / AR instructions and you can go from there.
For product overlay, in the box you might have say four stickers and stick them on the door (or product for the point track and your AR syncs with the point track marks.
This is just general chat / ideas, I'm sure there are smarter people working on this as we type.
