I'm astonished I have to explain such a basic idea to you, but here it is. I've had numerous purchases above 40 cents, including some earlier ones. The "first in, first out" principle means my average share price decreased when I initially sold 400k shares at 38.5 cents. Subsequently, there were more transactions lowering my average, such as buying 800k shares at 18.5 cents last September, as I've previously mentioned in other posts. Essentially, I repurchased most of the 1m shares I sold at 24.5 cents. It wasn't a smart move to buy them back, but I saved six cents per share in the process and bringing my average down, despite enduring some self-inflicted hardship.

Ultimately, these transactions brought my average down to around 30 cents for 1.8m shares before exiting, resulting in a total loss of $453k on AGY, which I've always been honest about, unlike you. I accept responsibility for my errors rather than pretending to be in a superior position like you. The positive aspect of my loss is that I quickly recouped it elsewhere. Now, I observe from the sidelines, uncertain if I'll reinvest. This is the benefit of acknowledging my mistakes and taking corrective action, instead of paying attention to baseless hype like yours.

Frankly, I didn't expect to have to explain averages to you, but given your posts about purchasing in the 20's and 30's, and somehow still maintaining a low-single digit average, it's not surprising that I needed to clarify.
