Aclara has a pilot plant in Chile - so should have a good understanding on capex, opex and yield
What I found very interesting is the importance of yield to margins for these IAC plants…they aren’t simple, require extensive metallurgical test work, a pilot facility to run bulk volumes through to ensure full understanding of how the clays leach and to produce REC over +12 months before being able to get an off take and before being able to fund/build $500m to a full scale plant
Not as hard as cracking/leaching, but these projects are far more complex and higher risk than a traditional gold or copper process plant
