    Yes I would be very supprised if most of the Hydroxide refineries planned ever get built , why deal with batteries that require Cobalt and nickel when LFP batteries can much do the same or more without either.7
    At a guess any product at Moblan will end up in a Carbonate refinery. The only fly in that ointment is that China is light years ahead in LFP battery technology and at the moment some of the plans to build LFP batteries in North America are under license to Chinese battery makers which is causing some issues..
    One of the beauties of SYA's current strategy to be a supplier of concentrate only at Moblan is they avoid the complications , cost and risk of dealing with the technology changes in refining. That may happen at NAL as well but would require a change in the existing OTA.

    Nothing wrong with just being a supplier of Spod If you can be an efficient low cost producer, in good times you make good money and tough times you struggle and that applies to refiners or suppliers. It largely comes down to risk tolerance IMO.
